Slumdog

I personally feel that slumdog millionaire was a foreign film with Indian actors in it.It had an Indian plot but that necessarily doesn't mean that its a Indian film The Director and technicians involved were foreigners.
It showed about the Indian slums and poverty the police atrocity , the Hindu Muslim riots , the mafia the thugs in the tourism industry many but if you look it as a movie then its fine but imagining that the whole world is seeing this what image a British viewer may be making in his mind about India.
OK i accept the fact that u call a spade a spade there are slums in mumbai as portrayed but the much exclamation that the movie is getting exclaims me, people are thronging to see it to movie halls to see it as an Indian film. though it was released much earlier in the international arena.
Don't you think that there are better movies being made in INDIA as compared to the slumdog? It is only that it was directed by a doyle a foreigner it sweeped the Oscar award .
talking also of the music given by rehman was good but don't you think rehman has given many more beautiful compositions which would have deserved this award.
I probably think what will be going inside rehman's brain:- "If this composition "jai ho" which was rejected by subhash ghai for yuvraj made it to oscar then if i gave my roja music or delhi-6 music it would have put the oscar judges in dizziness"
isn't it not the fact hat rehman was recognised only because he gave it in a foreign film.
I think the oscar is biased towards the white there are many movies better than slumdog its we the audience who would not be biased by a movie being Indian or foreign but decide by own which deserves recognition or not.
Because we the audience only makes stars and stardom.
